Gerhild Kirchner graduated in 1990 as goldsmith/jewellery designer from Sint-Lucas, Antwerp. In January 2008, after several years of workshop experience and living abroad, she opened her shop and studio in the historical centre of Antwerp.

There, in the shadow of the cathedral, craftmanship is revived: her technical skills and sparkling enthusiasm give birth to her typical contemporary designs.

Inspired by the daily she makes abstraction of the world that surrounds her. Gerhild seeks to give form to moods and feelings by way of her balanced compositions and architectural yet refined designs.

She designs with a sense of craftsmanship and elegance which makes for a pure but strong jewellery collection. In much the same way a person’s character is revealed, her jewellery unfolds before the eyes of the beholder, showing different facets and aspects every time you look at them.

Holding on to her style and identity ‘Unique’ is always a given in her portfolio gifted with several awards.
